Budget friendly stay in Spiez with a bit added commute Positive: - Beautiful location: the house is located by the lake, we immensely enjoyed the lake views from the balcony - Right across the road, there was a park and swimming access to the lake. - Competitive pricing for a two bedroom house - The house was very clean and nice. - Bed was very comfortable, sheets and towels provided were clean. - Host is very responsive and kind. Negative: - Upstairs bedroom was probably attic space as the ceiling was very low and we had to bend to walk around - there was also creaky noise when someone walked upstairs as it was all wooden - it’s a hike up to the house and stairs to third floor. With the luggage, it was difficult on day one. - We checked in on a very hot day and the house was extremely hot. We had to run air conditioning for some time to feel comfortable. The ac was upstairs, so downstairs was not that cool on first night. However, from day 2, the house temperature was comfortable.
